Dylan McCoy is the Program Assistant for the Rutgers Youth Sports Research Council within the Department of Kinesiology and Health. Dylan is a Spotswood, New Jersey resident who has been working for the Sports Council since 2023. He is the newest member of the Council and assists with the day-to-day operations, social media and marketing efforts.
Dylan is a recent graduate of Rutgers, earning his undergraduate degree in Journalism and Media Studies. While attending Rutgers, he was active in the sports community, serving as the Head Sports Editor for the Daily Targum, the student-run newspaper on campus. He also was the assistant sports director at WRSU, the student radio station, where he took part in producing and broadcasting various Rutgers events.
Dylan continues to work in sports journalism alongside his role at the Sports Council. He is currently assisting the NJ.com high school sports team in a freelance role. He also has writing credits for multiple websites, including Rutgers Rivals and On the Banks.
